A fab day at Fabb Glasgow

On Saturday I attended my first ever blogger event, it was arranged by bloggers Ray and Tor at FABB Events.  I was really nervous, I don’t know what I was expecting, a load of stereotypical fashionistas?!  Well, that could not have been further from the truth, the girls – and guy – that I met were all really nice and everyone was in the same position as me, not really knowing anyone else.

I spent a while thinking over my outfit for the day, completely aware that everyone would look great.  I finally decided on my tartan dress and my bowler hat.

Dress – Glamorous at Asos
White Shirt – H&M (one similar here)
Bowler hat – Topshop (old – one similar here)
Boots – New Look
Necklace – New Look (one similar here)

There were companies there giving talks about their products and handing out freebies.  Although I haven’t done any posts reviewing products yet I am looking forward to trying everything out and writing about them.  The freebies were amazing, I felt like a bag lady within 5 minutes.  I have already tried the body scrub from the Beauty Kitchen, a Glasgow based company.  They use all natural ingredients in their products, the body scrub left my skin feeling really soft and smelled so nice.  They also gave us a voucher to go along and make our own body scrub which I cannot wait to do!
Tammy from DIY nails was there painting nails and putting nails decals on, check out her website, her nail decals are really cute.
I got mine painted with ‘Green Room’ polish from Topshop and got a unicorn on them.
All the freebies from the day.
It was so nice to meet other bloggers as none of my friends blog, I hope I keep in touch with the people I met.
Some products reviews will be coming soon!
