Abandon Ship!

Abandon Ship Apparel launched their new pop up shop in Princes Square, Glasgow last Friday.  Abandon Ship Apparel is a Glasgow based street wear brand launched in 2011, known for their fun quirky prints.  Anyone who reads Honey Pop‘s blog may already be familiar with this brand as it is her boyfriend Richard who owns it along with his friend Duncan.

Although the shop opened at 9am on Friday morning the launch party wasn’t until the evening and I was lucky enough to go.  It was filled with loads of stylish people, pastel hair and many bearded and tattooed men.  On arriving we got goody bags, mine included a beanie hat (which my boyfriend is still trying to steal from me) and nail decals from diy nails.

The shop itself is not like any clothes shop it has a stormtrooper and a knight in armour and there are animal heads round the wall which are for sale.   There is even an arcade game to keep the man in your life entertained while you shop, although he should be far too interested in the clothes to be bothering about the arcade game!

I headed along with Jennifer, Scott, Naomi and Melissa and we also met Iona a beauty blogger from Stirling.  It was great opportunity to talk to people, have a wee look through the clothes and of course SHOP!  I have had my eye on the kitten dress for a while so when I saw it on Friday I couldn’t resist!

The pop up shop is open until the end of January 2014 and I will definitely be back in.  There are so many things I want, the guys t-shirts have really good prints on them and there were a few girls wearing them on Friday night and they looked great.  I have picked a few of my favourite things from the website, will be dropping mega hints to my boyfriend for xmas!

I am not usually a leggings type of girl but I really like the print on these.

If you have not been into the shop yet then I seriously suggest you go!  Or you could always visit their website.
