I recently attended an event at Crabtree & Evelyn in Edinburgh. The theme for the night was Garden Celebration, think bunting, little plant pots and afternoon tea!
I was first introduced to Crabtree & Evelyn around a year ago, and honestly before then I thought the brand was aimed at an older age group. This isn’t the case at all, and a Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream has become a handbag staple for me.
We were welcomed into the shop by Jamie and the lovely staff and pointed in the direction of tea and scones. Did you know Crabtree & Evelyn also sell food? I didn’t but they have a range of jams, teas and biscuits. I tried the blackberry green tea and a scone with strawberry and rose water jam, they were delicious!
We got a chance to test out some of the products by getting a nice relaxing hand massage using an exfoliating hand scrub, lovely fragranced soap (which is ph balanced so super kind to skin) and a really moisturising hand cream. I picked pear and pink magnolia hand cream which smelled amazing, the pear scent really came through.
The displays in the store were so fitting, bunting adorning the shelves and hand creams displayed in plant pots. Perfect for their garden celebration theme. No garden party would be complete without tea served out a teapot and drank from teacups. Very British.
There was also a selection of perfumes in the store. When it comes to scents I’m amazingly drawn to the sweetest smells, especially parma violet. So imagine my delight to discover that Venetian Violet smells just like the sweets. The addition of the atomiser makes the perfume even more perfect and one of these bottles would look perfect on my dressing table.
Is anyone else a fan of Crabtree & Evelyn? What is your favourite product?
