So, I’m pretty late to this party. I feel like 2016 only really started for me this weekend, I spent Hogmanay suffering from the winter sickness bug and only started to feel human again in the middle of the week!
I decided against a proper 2015 round up post as it’s not a year I really want to dwell on, I’m pretty glad it’s over. Some fantastic things happened last year but my life is so different now to how I thought it would be at the start of 2015. Although everything that happened last year was for the best it did result in some pretty rubbish/stressful months, but the saying ‘when one door closes another one opens’ could not be more true. The last few months of the year were pretty awesome.
As I have said before I’m not one for resolutions, but I like to make goals for the year ahead. So here are my goals for 2016, I have a pretty good feeling about this year.
I have said this for the last couple of years but I’m determined that this year I will blog more often. I also want to start some sort of regular feature, I haven’t decided on a theme yet but I’m giving it some thought.
See more places.
This includes more cities abroad and also more of Scotland. I live in one of the most beautiful countries in world and it is embarrassing how little of my own country I have seen! Top of my list in Scotland is Skye.
Take more photos.
People who know me in real life might find this funny as I take a LOT of photos. What I mean is better photos that I actually use.
Life is too short to not enjoy it. This year (and hopefully every year going forward) is all about loving life, laughing lots and just generally having a good time.
