My month in photos – March

Here we are again, another month down and now into month 4. The saying time flies when you’re having fun is really true, the first 3 months of 2016 have been a blur!

So, March!  At the start of the month we spent a fun day in Edinburgh. A bit of shopping (which my boyfriend put up with very patiently) and a yummy dinner at Yo! Sushi. I don’t know about anyone else but I seem to manage to eat a crazy amount of food when I go there. It’s just too tempting when the colourful dishes are going past on the conveyor belt. There was a wee kid sitting a few tables down from us who was keeping himself entertained by playing with his wrestler on the conveyor belt. He didn’t manage to grab it before it got out of reach, so obviously I had to take a photo before handing it back to him!

I went along to the Debenhams SS16 press day at The Corinthian in the middle of the month. It was a stunning venue for it and there were so many lovely pieces on display. Full post coming soon.

The bank holiday weekend for Easter was pretty welcome and we decided to extend our time off and make the long weekend a week. We had a nice wee staycation and found something to do every day. Some of our time off was spent with me seeing more of Fife going to the beach, the Botanic Gardens in St Andrews, a cheese farm for brunch (I actually had a plate of different cheeses to eat – my food heaven) and the Secret Bunker. We also went to Hinterland at St Peter’s Seminary, which was a light show in an abandoned building in Cardross near Glasgow – it was both eerie and cool at the same time, and we also went to the Falkirk Wheel. It has been there for a long time but despite the fact I lived in Falkirk for years I had never been! It was pretty cool and the view from the top canal was fantastic.
