Outfit of the Day: Jeans and shirt

Sometimes my favourite outfits are the ones I just throw on in the morning.

I┬ádefinitely love a cute dress but some days jeans just seem like the better option. Plus, living in Scotland, there are days when it’s so windy that stepping outside wearing a dress or skirt would result in it ending up over your head with your undies on show to everyone. Not generally a look I favour!

Black skinny jeans are a wardrobe staple for me. This pair are high waisted which I love, I find them a bit more flattering as the waistband sits at the smallest part of you. I paired my jeans with a pair of boots that were an absolute steal in the Clarks sale. From a boring practical point of view they are super comfy and have grips on the bottom which is perfect for icy days in Scotland when falling on your bum isn’t desirable.

We went out a few weeks ago to a park near us in Kirkcaldy for a bit of a walk and for Mark to try out his new camera lenses. What better way to try them out than to take photos of his girlfriend?! Haha. Most of the items I’m wearing in this post are old. Wardrobe staples are good because they don’t really go out of style quickly and can be easily updated and worn lots by mixing up your accessories.
